Remembering Flodden

The Remembering Flodden website and charity is dedicated to educating and informing of the significance of the Battle of Flodden, both for visitors and local residents.

They are also the creators and keepers of the Flooden battlefield trail.

The Society was formed in February 2011 in response to local interest in the archaeology, history and heritage of the Till Valley. Its formation was greatly stimulated by the participation of local volunteers in the archaeological excavations taking place on and around the site of the Battle of Flodden.

The Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC) is the only UK-wide club for young people aged 8 to 17 who are interested in archaeology.

The Flodden branch of the Young Archaeologists’ Club was recently set up as part of the Flodden 1513 Ecomuseum and covers a large area stretching across North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
